Zero95, the beloved woodfired pizza bar & Italian restaurant, and Meno Zero, the Italian artisan gelateria are to open in Alphington. The expansion of their operations will be later this year when they open in the new, exciting location.
Slated to open in November, Zero95 and Meno Zero Alphington will complement the existing suburban gems in Doncaster and Dromana.
Zero95 is a go-to destination for exceptional woodfired pizzas, expertly prepared Southern Italian dishes and warm hospitality, while Meno Zero serves up world class gelato and dolce.
The 250m2 Alphington location will feature a double entrance, one direct into Zero95 and the other to Meno Zero, with the areas seamlessly flowing into each other.
Seating approximately 80 inside and 60 in the covered piazza that wraps around outside, guests can choose to sit in the main dining area with open kitchen, complete with custom woodfired pizza oven imported from Naples, at the bar, al fresco, or near the sumptuous desserts.
The decor will feature white and grey hues with accents of green, black and wood. Murals will overlook diners and a neon sign will entice them to after dinner gelato.
The Zero95 menu will serve up authentic Italian flavours, with dishes created from traditional recipes passed down through generations. The finest wood-fired pizzas will sit alongside other highlights including one of the best seafood pastas in Melbourne – Spaghettini Pescatore al Cartoccio (a selection of seafood in rich tomato sugo, touch of garlic & chilli and served wrapped in paper.
“We can’t wait to open the doors to Zero95 and Meno Zero Alphington,” said Anthony Biviano, Zero95 and Meno Zero co-owner. “We were looking for a new location for a while and the old Paper Mill is the perfect place, with both an established and upcoming community in the area.”
Zero95 and Meno Zero Alphington will soon be getting locals’ mouths watering and those further afield the perfect reason to visit the inner north east suburb!
