Popular Queensland pub, The Club Hotel Gladstone has reopened after receiving a $2.8 million renovation.
Led by Kingston architects, the transformation has positioned The Club Hotel as a pub for the local community with something for everyone in the new and modernised destination for fun and classic pub dining.
Gladstone’s newest family friendly pub and beer garden will excite locals, with a weather protected beer garden catering to over 300 patrons and including an outdoor kids’ playground to keep the little ones entertained. The Club Hotel will quickly become the perfect spot for residents and workers to enjoy food and drinks with friends, family and colleagues.
Sports lovers will love the new home of live sports, with locals now able to catch all the sporting action in the modernised laidback sports bar.
Customers will also feel right at home in the expansive light and bright family friendly bistro, which will be serving up favourites and classic pub fare with a completely refreshed food menu.
The Club Hotel’s menu offering focuses on Queensland pub classics and fresh local seafood, and includes an exclusive seniors offering. The tasty starters will be perfect for groups wanting to graze whilst enjoying a drink in the outdoor beer garden, while the full menu can be ordered throughout the entire venue.
Other areas that have been unveiled include the newly upgraded gaming room and refreshed accommodation.

- Trivia every Monday from 6pm
- Tradie Club every Friday from 3pm
- Kids’ Club every Sunday with free children’s entertainment from 11.30am (includes face painting, temporary tattoos and balloon artistry).
The Club Hotel is raising funds for Volunteer Marine Rescue Gladstone, as part of operators Australian Venue Co’s Local Heroes initiative. Through the program $1 will be donated for the sale of every Parmi on a Wednesday to help the charity which is made up of volunteers who provide safety of life at sea.
Food and beverage led hospitality operator Australian Venue Co has been investing heavily in revitalising the Queensland pub landscape, with recent completed renovations including Dunwoody’s in Cairns, Coomera Lodge Hotel on the Gold Coast and Boomerang Hotel in Mackay.
