Sense Communications has worked on the public relations and assisted with the event planning of Prahran Market’s Say Cheese Festival since 2018.

The Say Cheese Festival is Prahran Market’s biggest event of the year and brings in 25k+ visitors on the day. It is a must-do event on the foodie calendar.

The Prahran Market Say Cheese Festival is a celebration of everything that is GRATE about cheese. From savoury to sweet, temperate to warm and oh so oozy. Their resident and special-guest traders served up so much cheesy GOUDA-ness to put you in heaven. The day involves cooking demonstrations, sessions for grownups and live demos in the Demonstration Kitchen. Not to mention bars to lounge in, music to chill to, and fun for the kids as well.

Not only do the Market Traders showcase cheese products and inspired dishes, but a number of guest exhibitors pop-up on the day as part of the takeover of Elizabeth Street.

Throughout the day, the Market Kitchen hosts a series of demonstrations. This culminates in the Grilled Cheese Invitational, where some of Melbourne’s best chefs battle it out to create the best cheese toastie, as judged by well-known food journalists, TV presenters and chefs.
