Sizzlefest
In February 2020, Prahran Market held their second Sizzlefest and 5th annual Sausage Tasting.
Sizzlefest included all sorts of grill-spiration from across the market. This included tastes and eats with meat, seafood, and meat-free. In Market Square, there were sights and smells of all sorts of grilling, smoking and barbecuing, and you could grab a glass of something chilled to go along with some tasty grilled eats.
Sense Communications implemented a media relations campaign that resulted in coverage for Sizzlefest across all major online media outlets. This included Broadsheet, The Urban List, Concrete Playground and Time Out. Print/online listings included The Age Spectrum and Leader Newspapers.
Sense also assisted in finding talent for the demonstrations to inspire and entertain visitors in the Harvest Hall kitchen.
The event was a huge success, with many Traders selling out of product by the end of the day and a record number of people taking part in the Sausage Tasting to judge the Best Market Sausage.
