REWIND 1999 at Retro’s: Retro’s in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley and Smirnoff Ice are turning back the clock to 1999, offering the perfect excuse to dust off the low-rise jeans, dig out the butterfly clips, and belt out Britney Spears and other hits from the turn of the millennium.
On Saturday 9 October from 8pm, Retro’s Cocktail Lounge transforms into a Y2K fantasy for REWIND 1999, the biggest throwback party of the year. With a night full of iconic songs, nostalgic theming, and plenty of throwbacks and $10 Smirnoff Ices, the celebration brings the best of the 90s and 00s back to the Valley.
Bringing the soundtrack of the era to life, YO! MAFIA takes the stage alongside supporting DJs, delivering back-to-back pop anthems, boy-band favourites, and classics to get everyone dancing.
With Glitoris on hand throughout the night to give glitter makeovers to anyone needing that extra sparkle to complete the perfect throwback outfit. Dressing up for the occasion too, Retro’s custom theming throughout the venue creates the illusion of escaping into 1999 for the night.
Adding to the festivities, prizes and nostalgic surprises appear throughout the evening, so guests have the chance to bring home something more than their memories.
With $10 Smirnoff Ice available on the night, plus, for the whole of October, guests can enjoy the deal at Retro’s, Lefty’s and Regatta Hotel.
