World Paella Day at Anada

World Paella Day at Anada – the 20th of September is a day to celebrate the beloved Spanish dish that is Paella – which is why everyone should head down to Añada restaurant. A true celebration of Spanish flavours and tradition, this is the perfect excuse for friends to gather, lovers to have date night, colleagues to have a post-work feed, and family to enjoy time together and dig into the delicious dish.

From vibrant flavours to the rich aromas, paella is a dish designed to fill the table and bring people together. Whether enjoyed over a leisurely lunch or a long dinner with a glass of Spanish wine in hand, Añada’s paella is a dish to make your Spanish dining experience one to remember.

World Paella Day at Anada

Añada restaurant is renowned for serving up one of the best paellas in Melbourne, made with saffron aioli, white fish, calamari, prawns and butter beans. And to celebrate the special day, they are offering a free glass of house red or white wine with every paella order.

“There’s no other dish that embodies the Spanish lifestyle and cuisine quite as perfectly as paella,” says owner Grant Turvey.

“At Añada, we introduce this concept of sharing traditional meals to our diners in a wide pan where the fresh flavours of the ocean meets the smokey scent of the land. Meant to be shared at the table, you know you’ve done it right when friends and families are fighting over the prized socarrat – the caramelised crust at the bottom.
