
Yarra Botanica, the popular two-level floating bar and eatery on the Yarra River, has announced its MFWF (Melbourne Food & Wine Festival) event. Partnering with Killara Foundation to present a unique dining experience on Friday 28th March, the event – Keep The Fire Burning – will feature top Melbourne chefs, indigenous inspired bites and stunning Melbourne views. There is no better way to spend an Autumn evening.
Guests can indulge in a thoughtfully designed menu created by renowned chefs Telina Menzies, Kay-Lene Tan, Jerry Mai, Bente Grysbaek, Emma Jeffrey and Diana Desensi. Each will craft a signature bite, delivering an exquisite tasting journey using Indigenous and local ingredients. Think Crocodile and Macadamia with bunya satay, Scallop and Lemon Aspen Ceviche and Wallaby and Bone Marrow Cigar.
The menu includes eight expertly crafted canapes, a delectable dessert, and a refreshing house-made spritz on arrival.

A traditional smoking ceremony and welcome to country will launch the evening, followed by performances from First Nations and local artists as the night progresses which will be curated by renowned musician David Arden.
$10 from every ticket sold will be donated to the Killara Foundation. The Killara Foundation supports Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander peoples by providing pathways to employment, cultural connection and mentoring, and support in navigating the housing and labour markets.
