Brewmanity, South Melbourne’s brewery and bar with a philosophy of good beer doing good things, is excited to announce its upcoming fundraising event to support the FightMND charity – Big Freeze at Brewmanity Brewery on Friday 31st May.
The event will be filled with an exciting lineup of activities and aims to rally Melburnians in support of fighting Motor Neurone Disease (MND). FightMND holds a special significance for Brewmanity, with the charity being at the heart of the beer brand.
As part of the Big Freeze event, guest speaker Billy Brownless will share his captivating insights, with Russell Robertson serving as the MC. Guests will be entertained with live performances by Emma Boult Studios and an exciting auction, offering exclusive items, will take place on the brewery rooftop.
Every ticket purchase includes complimentary beers, wines, soft drinks as well as cocktail food.
Brewmanity’s commitment to supporting the Fight against MND runs deep, rooted in co-owner David Neitz’s personal connection to the cause. Neitz, a former AFL player, expresses his passion for the charity, stating, “We’re thrilled to be hosting this fundraising event at our new Brewmanity brewery and bar. FightMND is at the heart of Brewmanity.
“It all started with a desire to create beer that makes a difference and raise funds for my friend and ex-coach Neale Daniher’s charity. Neale was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease (MND) over 10 years ago and we are proud that our beers have been able to raise nearly $970,000 for Fight MND. Now we can get our venue involved with the fundraising as well!”
