Cheese producer That’s Amore Cheese today launches a delivery service with an online store in reaction to the current crisis hitting the hospitality industry.

With restaurants and cafes closing, or having to move to take-away only, demand for suppliers’ ingredients has decreased, putting pressure on the producers to keep their workers employed.

That’s Amore Cheese is one such producer. Well known for its award winning cheeses including Mozzarella, Burrata and Cacio, That’s Amore Cheese supplies to many of Australia’s restaurants and cafes and has therefore seen a drop in sales.

While the That’s Amore Cheese Retail Outlet in Thomastown remains open, owner Giorgio Linguanti recognised that people are relying on delivery services more than ever as they stay at home. So, the team has launched an online store – now everyone in Melbourne can get the delicious array of cheeses, deli items such as freshly sliced cured meats, pantry essentials, fresh homemade pasta and ready to eat meals right to their door (minimum order $40). Or, pick up is also available.

“As the hospitality industry is challenged with the current crisis, so too are producers such as us at That’s Amore Cheese. We want to keep our workers in the factory producing our delicious range of cheeses, so the team has worked quickly to get an online store up and running,” said Giorgio.

“Now everyone in Melbourne can shop for That’s Amore products without leaving the house. Our café chefs will be making fresh pastas and pizzas as well as ready to heat meals so our customers can have easy and tasty meals. That’s Amore Cheese can now deliver from our home to your home.”

The simple website makes it easy for customers to get all their favourite That’s Amore Cheese products as well as some delicious meals prepared by the chefs, ready to just heat and serve. There is even an Essential Box for $40 with all the basics.

  • 2L That’s Amore Milk

  • 250g Scamorza Bianca

And, for those with a sweet tooth, the Cannoli Kit ($24) is a must. With a choice of 12 mini shells or 6 large shells, the kit has the delicious That’s Amore Cheese ricotta filling, icing sugar and crushed pistachios so you can make the very best cannoli in the comfort of your home.

Delivery (no contact) is free for orders over $40 for up to 15kms from That’s Amore Cheese in Thomastown; and free delivery for orders over $120 for the rest of Melbourne (up to 25km from Thomastown), otherwise delivery is from $10.
