One of Yarrawonga’s favourite pubs, The Terminus, unveiled its new beer garden this week after a $1.75 million renovation that has created a hospitality and entertainment hub for locals and visitors to the area – The Stables at Terminus.
The new space has its own, exclusive side entrance complete with barn doors. Paying homage to the previous space, The Stables at Terminus has been completely renewed while maintaining the look and feel of the origins of the building to serve up an unrivalled beer garden experience in town.
The Stables at Terminus has a capacity of 375 people and features an expansive seating area complete with high, low and picnic tables with protection from the weather and a pergola. Leafy green surrounds and exposed beams are just some of the design features.
Families can look forward to many happy outings with a large playground to keep kids busy.
Plus, sports lovers will not be disappointed with a mega screen to play all of the action live and loud all year round.
Weekly specials will keep locals happy:
- Monday – Thursday Happy Hour – $3.50 pots, $5 house wine, $5.50 schooners & $6.50 pints
- $20 Parma & Pot – every Wednesday
- Trivia – every Thursday from 7pm
- Karaoke – first Friday of every month
A fully stocked container bar is in place to ensure thirsts are quenched, while the kitchen will serve up both new and current pub classics that local patrons know and love. Plus, there will be an extensive snack menu that’s perfect for groups wanting to graze whilst enjoying a drink in the sunshine.
Through the venue’s Local Heroes program, Terminus Yarrawonga will raise much needed funds for the Lions Club with $1 raised for every Parma sold each Wednesday. Lions Club supports local charity Turban Angels, which supplies free, beautiful headwear to help people through their chemotherapy journey.
To celebrate the opening of The Stables, Terminus Yarrawonga will host a Welcome Weekend on 1st and 2nd April. There will be acoustic tunes, kids entertainment, free roving snacks and more.

The impressive new beer garden will provide young local families, residents and holiday-makers with a spacious new destination for get-togethers with family and friends and will eventually be available for weddings and events.
The Stables at Terminus opened on Monday 20th March.
