A series of events for truffle lovers to celebrate truffle season has been announced by Mister Bianco restaurant in Kew. There’s something for everyone, whether a novice or true aficionado, and many will want to be part of them all!
Truffle Events at Mister Bianco – Cooking Demonstration and Dinner: Friday, 28th July, 6.30pm
Cooking with truffles can be daunting, but Joe Vargetto is bringing Giuseppe’s Cooking School back to provide you with ideas and top tips with this demonstration class and dinner. Joe will share his secrets as he showcases three delicious dishes, showing how to get the most out of a truffle and providing inspiration for a dinner party. Far more impressive than simply putting some indulgent shavings on top of a dish! While you watch the masterclass, they will get to enjoy each of the dishes accompanied with wine.

Truffle Farm Drive: Sunday, 20th August, 9.30am
You can see exactly where truffles are grown with this Sunday outing! Guests will meet at Mister Bianco ready to set out on the approx 90 minute drive out to Buxton Truffles for a delicious day out (the option to meet directly at Buxton Truffles is available).
On arrival, you will enjoy a coffee while hearing from Robert Utter about his business before touring the truffle farm and watch the fabulous truffle dogs in action. Then, you will get to see the truffles as they are discovered and smell the pungent ingredient straight out of the ground. After walking around the farm, Joe Vargetto will serve up a tasty, old school truffle themed lunchbox and Robert will provide a glass of the farm’s very own Utter wine.
The drive is limited to 24 guests and all ticket purchasers can go into the draw to win the use of a new MINI for the day (three MINIs available thanks to Doncaster MINI Garage). The Truffle Drive is the perfect excuse to get together and enjoy a road trip with family and friends, priced $120pp.
