Mister Bianco in Kew will host a dinner event to celebrate International Women’s Day on Tuesday 8th March and it will be an event not to be missed with chef and farmer of Barragunda Estate, Simone Watts, taking over the kitchen and a great line-up of inspirational women speakers.
Simone Watts has created a delicious five-course menu that champions local female grown produce and sustainability, Including a duck parfait using Jody Clarke’s Great Ocean Ducks, second course that features a cheese by Lucy Whitlow and produce grown at Barragunda from biodynamic seed supplied by Robin Koster-Carlyon of Transition Farm, Cipollini lasagne showcasing pork from Ethical
Swine, and a collaboration dessert with Monika Frkovic of Boca Gelato. Joe Vargetto will create the fourth course – slow cooked hare.
Each course will be matched with a wine by Angela Brown of All Saints Estate.
Acclaimed food journalist Dani Valent will MC the event and guests will hear from special guests – journalist / new mum Mel Singer and sisters / pharmacists Haven & Jala Moushi.
