As part of Australian Venue Co’s Melbourne public relations campaign, we rounded-up a list of the best rooftop bars in Melbourne to visit this summer.

  • Fargo & Co’s rooftop sits atop a two-storey heritage Edwardian building, formerly a bank, complete with vintage vault doors and bartenders who are known as tellers.
  • The renovated space is now one of the most stylish spots in Richmond, with a stunning alfresco courtyard that looks out over the streets.

447 Church Street, Richmond

  • Harlow’s rooftop offers the ultimate spot to perch, sip and snack with some of the finest Melbourne CBD views around.
  • They serve classic pub food, plenty of delicious drinks, and the best part, all pooch pals are welcome in the beer garden (on a lead).

Imperial Hotel Bourke Street

  • Perched high at the top of The Imperial Hotel is a huge rooftop with breathtaking city views.
  • The Imperial’s rooftop garden is unrivalled in the Melbourne rooftop bar scene and a very popular place to soak in the beauty of the city skyline.

Kewpie Fitzroy
377 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy

  • Kewpie is home to one of the most beloved boutique rooftops in Fitzroy.
  • Guests will find delicious cheap pizzas, beers, and great tunes at the graffiti-laden rooftop.

Richmond Club Hotel
100 Swan Street, Richmond

  • Richmond Club Hotel is an iconic Melbourne pub built in the late 1800’s boasting an incredible rooftop with epic views over Melbourne’s skyline.

State of Grace
27 King Street, Melbourne

  • The State of Grace Rooftop offers great views overlooking Melbourne city.
  • This summer sees the State of Essences bottomless brunch on the rooftop with 2 hours of bottomless vodka and soda teapots, concocting your own ‘essence’ with Grey Goose Essences and a trinket box full of different garnishes.   • The Duke of Wellington is Melbourne’s oldest licensed pub – established in 1853.
  • The newly-opened rooftop bar offers epic views of the Forum, Fed Square and Flinders Street and has a unique menu and cocktail list.

The Provincial
299 Brunswick Street, Fitzroy

  • The Provincial rooftop may be the most famous (read: popular) in Melbourne.
  • The cocktail list is as stylish as the rooftop itself, and the people who frequent it come dressed to match.
  • The summer rooftop bottomless brunch is perfect for catch ups with friends with a new list of thirst-quenching cocktails and menu. Two hours of free flowing beverages and a choice of brunch items for $65pp. Available Sat & Sun 11 am and 2pm.

The Terminus
605 Victoria Street, Abbotsford
